Gatlinburg’s trolley system is the fifth largest mass transit system in the state of Tennessee. The trolley system was established in 1980 with a fleet of only six trolleys. Gatlinburg now has 20 trolleys that service approximately 50 miles in and around Gatlinburg and surrounding areas.
Thanks to a grant received previously, you can view the locations and approximate arrival times at numerous trolley shelters through a global positioning system. To view the locations of the trolleys, please click on the following link: TROLLEY LOCATIONS.
Visitors can pick up free trolley maps at each of the Gatlinburg Welcome Centers. Park your car and hop aboard the Gatlinburg Trolley (all but Tan and Pink routes) unlimited times for only $2.00 per day! The Trolley Pass is available at numerous participating Gatlinburg lodging facilities, Gatlinburg City Hall, as well as at the three Gatlinburg Welcome Centers, noted on the front of this schedule/map.
